  • Dr Marnee Watkins is a Lecturer in Visual Arts Education at The University of Melbourne. She is currently working fulltime in the Melbourne Graduate School of Education (MGSE) as an early career researcher and teaching academic, actively contributing to teaching, subject coordination and development across a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and university-wide breadth subjects. She is supervising a number of doctoral candidates.

    Dr Watkins' current and recent research and publications are focused on investigating teachers’ practices and pedagogies around the arts, interdisciplinary learning, artful collaborations, teacher professional learning and facilitating participatory arts-based communities of practice.
