  • Narelle English coordinates teaching for the Assessment Research Centre, University of Melbourne. She has designed and implemented assessment for teaching programs in the Master of Teaching, Master of Education, the Network of Schools project within the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, and the Department of Education’s Bastow Institute. This work has as a keystone a formative assessment approach. Narelle plays a key role in the coordination of the Assessment and Learning Partnerships professional development program with the state and Catholic education sectors. Prior to working at The University of Melbourne, Narelle taught and held leadership positions in department schools in Victoria, and overseas in the US state system and Japan.
