Nerida is a Research Fellow in the Non Communicable Diseases Unit at the School of Population and Global Health. She is passionate about the ways in which public health research and evaluation can inform and positively influence policy and program decisions in practice. Since 2011, her research has focused on workplace health, safety and wellbeing, leading projects funded by WorkSafe Victoria.
Nerida's background is in public health and health promotion. She has previously held research and teaching positions at Deakin University and Monash University and has also worked in community and government positions. Her skills include project management, program evaluation, strategic program planning, qualitative research, knowledge translation, training and facilitation and partnership development with government and non-government organisations.
