Supervision Statement

  • My research aim is to search for novel solutions across a wide range of disciplines with achieving creative opportunities from current and raising issues in earth science engineering and fallows are my major research intrests;

    1. Unconventional oil and gas extractions
    Coal seam, shale and tight gases and heavy oil extractions, gas and oil reservoirs engineering, enhanced gas and oil recovery processes, production enhancing techniques including hydraulic fracturing, gas and oil flow in porous and fractured media, subsurface issues and management techniques, constitutive models, coupled process, reservoir modelling and simulation, reservoir geomechanics, wellbore and drilling mechanics.

    2. CO2 Sequestration
    CO2 storage in deep coal seams, saline aquifers, shales, and depleted oil and gas reservoirs, soil carbonations, regulation and legislation, cap rock integrity, coupled hydro-chemico-mechanical processes, reservoir geomechanics, wellbore and drilling mechanics, numerical methods, flow in porous and fractured media.
