  • Catriona McLean is Head of Anatomical Pathology at Alfred Health with Professorial appointments at The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, Monash University and The University of Melbourne. Catriona has over 25 years’ experience in brain banking and is diagnostic neuropathologist for the Victorian Brain Bank, Honorary neuropathologist at Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre, Director of the Victorian Neuromuscular Service (also servicing Tasmania) and pathologist for the State Melanoma Service, the National CJD Registry (also servicing New Zealand) and Australian Phenomics Network. Catriona has been the Director of the Australian Brain Bank Network (ABBN) from 2003 to 2014.
