DR Marcus Chen

  • Marcus Chen is Clinical Associate Professor at the Melbourne School of Population Health, University of Melbourne and Senior Specialist in Sexual Health Medicine at the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, Alfred Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. He completed his PhD on the epidemiology of chlamydia at the University of Sydney and has lived and worked in Melbourne, Sydney and London. His postdoctoral work focused on the epidemiology and control of STIs. Dr Chen has been the recipient of a number of research awards and research grants and has co-authored over 100 papers in the field of STIs in peer reviewed medical journals.
