  • Prof Jo Douglass is currently head of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergy at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and an Honorary Clinical Professor at the University of Melbourne. She graduated from Monash University in 1984 and undertook specialist training commenced in Allergy and Respiratory medicine in Melbourne and in the UK. Her research has a major focus of clinical allergy and immunology, including asthma, focusiing on improving the delivery of care to patients in clinical practice. She has published widely with currently 90 academic publications. She is a past President of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA), is the Secretary of the Australian Allergy Foundation and a Director of Asthma Victoria.
