Supervision Statement

  • I am originally a computational linguist, and I now work primarily on information extraction from and text mining of biomedical texts, including the biomedical literature and clinical texts. My interests therefore span natural language processing, health and biomedical informatics, bioinformatics, text and data analytics, application of machine learning methods, and knowledge discovery in support of biological data analysis and clinical decision making.
