  • Antonio joined the Department of Finance in September 2013 as an Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer). His research interests are in Asset Management (Hedge Funds and Mutual Funds), Household Finance and Financial Econometrics. His research has been published in the Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, and International Journal of Forecasting; and has been presented at major international conferences such as NBER, WFA, EFA, ASU Sonoran Conference, UBC Winter Finance Conference, FDU and others. Before joining the University of Melbourne, Antonio has been visiting PhD student at the University of California in San Diego for three years. Antonio obtained a PhD in Finance from Bocconi University (Italy), a Master in Finance from the University of Pisa (Italy) and a Bachelor in Philosophy from the University of Naples (Italy). Before enrolling in the PhD program Antonio worked as Junior Portfolio Manager at Anima Asset Management in Milan.
