  • Kevin is a pharmacist with over 20 years' experience. Kevin graduated from the Victorian College of Pharmacy (1986-88) and has practiced in metropolitan Melbourne and regional and rural Victorian pharmacies as well as overseas (UK 1992-93). He owned and operated Kevin de Vries Pharmacy in Bendigo from 1997 to 2007. Kevin completed an MBA (La Trobe University 2007-12) and has taught pharmacology to Dental and Oral Health students at La Trobe University, Bendigo.

    Kevin is employed (0.4EFT) by the Department of Rural Health (Shepparton) delivering the Rural Pharmacy Liaison Officer program across Shepparton, Bendigo and Ballarat and associated regions. This program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aging as part of the Sixth Community Pharmacy Agreement. It is delivered in partnership with Monash University.

    Kevin is also employed (0.6EFT) with Guild Pharmacy Academy, Pharmacy Guild of Australia, as a  project pharmacist and instructional designer writing training materials for the Certificate II, Certificate III and Certificate IV in Community Pharmacy.

    Kevin lives in Bendigo and is passionate about the health and vibrancy of regional communities.
