- Adam is a Teaching Fellow and researcher in the School of Social and Political Sciences, with a focus on comparative politics and public policy. He completed his PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2017, with a thesis that compared the politics of health care and pension reform in the United States and Sweden. While completing his doctoral research, he spent time as a Visiting Researcher at the George Washington University in Washington D.C. and the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Adam also coordinates the third-year subject American Politics, and maintains a keen interest in all things American. He continues to conduct research on the translation of political ideas into public policy, with particular reference to changing welfare states, as well as the comparative evaluation of contemporary welfare policy.
