  • Dr Aran Martin is a Research Fellow at the Melbourne School of Government and Editor of the journal Global Change, Peace and Security at the School of Law, La Trobe University. His research interests include international relations, conflict resolution, environmental politics and global civil society. His research has been published in journals such as the International Journal of Conflict Management (2016), Australian Journal of International Affairs (2016), Environmental Politics (2014), Asian Politics and Policy (2013), and has resulted in recommendations by the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade (2012) to the Australian government.  He is a co-author of the publication 'State Support for Peace Processes' (DFAT: Canberra, 2017) and is currently undertaking research on the 'Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding: Developing a a policy and program for Australia' project funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
