Inga joined the Melbourne Institute in August 2016 as a Research Fellow in the HILDA Survey team.
Prior to joining the Melbourne Institute, Inga worked for five years as a Research Fellow at the Forschungszentrum Familienbewusste Personalpolitik, University of Muenster (Germany).
Inga holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Osnabrueck (Germany) and is currently a doctoral candidate in sociology at the Bielefeld Graduate School in History and Sociology, Bielefeld University (Germany). In her dissertation she investigates the effects of insecure employment on partnerships in Germany and Australia.
Her research interests include the sociology of work; family sociology, life course research as well as labour market and family policy.
