Inga joined the Melbourne Institute in August 2016 as a Research Fellow in the HILDA Survey team.
Prior to joining the Melbourne Institute, Inga worked for five years as a Research Fellow at the Forschungszentrum Familienbewusste Personalpolitik, University of Muenster (Germany).
Inga holds a PhD in sociology from Bielefeld University (Germany). In her dissertation she has investigates the effects of insecure employment on partnership and parenthood decisions in Germany and Australia.
Her research interests include the sociology of work; family sociology, life course research as well as labour market and family policy.
