  • Dr Mladen Adamović is a Research Fellow in Management and Leadership at the Centre for Workplace Leadership. Before joining The University of Melbourne in 2015, Dr Adamović was a lecturer at the University of Toulouse 1 Capitole in France, where he also completed his PhD. He also gained work experience in the tourism and shipbuilding sector in Germany. His research is about the following three topics:

    1) Cultural diversity in the workplace: Inclusion of migrants and refugees, discrimination against migrants and refugees, cross-cultural research about leadership and management topics
    2) Social side of the workplace: Leadership, workplace justice, employee well-being, teamwork and workplace conflict
    3) Virtual work: Leading teleworkers and global virtual teams

    To conduct his research, Dr Adamović closely works together with organisations from the private and public sector. He is specialised in survey studies, field experiments and interviews. To communicate effectively his research findings, he writes academic articles, engages with the media and presents his work at international management conferences.
