Dr. Ilkka Ojansivu is a lecturer in marketing at the Department of Management and Marketing at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He received his Ph.D. (D.Sc.) in Marketing at the Oulu Business School, Finland, in December 2014. In his thesis “Exploring the underlying dynamics of buyer-seller interaction in project afterlife” Ojansivu provided conceptual and empirical foundations for the study of post-project business relationships. His research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals such as Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing and International Journal of Project Management on themes such as business relationship dynamics, temporary organizing, and institutional logics. His research develops understanding on marketing and management as complex social phenomena crossing disciplinary boundaries. Currently, he teaches the undergraduate level Product Management class and the graduate level Marketing Management class.
