  • Dr William Shi obtained his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2010. Having commenced the training program in Cardiothoracic Surgery in 2014, William has trained at St Vincent's Hospital and Monash Medical Centre, and is currently at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.

    William completed his PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2017, and is a Senior Research Fellow within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Melbourne. He is a recipient of a Foundation for Surgery Research Scholarship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a Health Professional Scholarship from the National Heart Foundation of Australia. William has published over 40 manuscripts in international journals and presented at scientific meetings in North America and Europe.
