  • Dr. Ambica Dattakumar is a research fellow in the Health and Biomedical Informatics Research Unit at the University of Melbourne. Her research interests are telehealth, health informatics, ehealth and social and community informatics. Her PhD thesis was on the adoption of telemedicine in India focusing on the perspectives of decision makers and clinicians.

    She has recently been a research fellow on a Office of Learning and Teaching national project focusing on ehealth education for the future clinical workforce in Australia. She is now involved in projects that focus on telehealth evaluation.
