Our Research
This academic group comprises outstanding researchers and education experts in inclusive education. At the core of our purpose is the unwavering commitment to forging a healthier, more connected, and more equitable future through education where teachers are highly trained and all learners thrive. We achieve this through outstanding inter-disciplinary research, graduate programs and professional training in learning science, educational and developmental psychology and learning intervention. We are at the forefront of knowledge, skills and practice in areas of science of learning (maths, literacy), disability, learning difficulties, neuro-diversity, and mental health and well-being which ensures our graduates are equipped to be leaders in their fields. We value our extensive partnerships with governments, schools, professionals and advocacy and community groups. In collaboration, we ensure our insights are applied to improve the learning, well-being and mental health of all students (e.g., evidence-based policy, school-based interventions and programs). Our research, education and engagement in policy and practice debates in areas such as learning difficulties, disability and mental health are underpinned by the essential voices of students, teachers, and families.
