Michael Vitale teaches, researches, and consults in the areas of commercialisation and innovation. He is the Director, Commercialisation, of the Asia-Pacific Centre for Science and Wealth Creation at Monash University, and is a member of the University’s Commercialisation and Intellectual Property Advisory Committee.
Michael also teaches at the Melbourne Business School, Macquarie University, and the Australia New Zealand School of Government, as well as in executive programs in the public and private sectors.
Michael is chairman of the Australian Centre for Posttraumatic Mental Health and a director of Australian Science Innovations Inc. He is president of the Harvard Club of Australia – Victoria and a member of the Victorian Branch Committee of AusBiotech.
Michael holds a BA in mathematics (Oakland University, USA), a PhD in mathematics (Dartmouth College, USA), and an MBA (Harvard Business School).
