Dr Liz Christie is a senior post-doctoral researcher at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Her research uses genomics and bioinformatics to understand the genomic mechanisms involved in acquired drug resistance in ovarian cancer, and testing ctDNA as a biomarker of resistance.

Her findings have led to the PRECISE clinical trial, for patients with recurrent HGSC and ABCB1 transcriptional fusions.Liz completed her PhD at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research in Parkville and the University of Melbourne, studying intestinal development in zebrafish. https://www.linkedin.com/in/lizchristie1/https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9959-7024
