Kate Darian-Smith

 

Professor Kate Darian-Smith is Executive Dean and Pro-Vice Chancellor, College of Arts, Law and Education at the University of Tasmania. She previously worked in the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at the University of Melbourne for many years, teaching and conducting research in Australian history and cultural heritage, and holding several senior leadership positions.

Professor Darian-Smith is currently a Professorial Fellow (Honorary) in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning. She is an elected Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia (ASSA).
