Jacqui Cameron is a social worker, bringing over 12 years’ research experience in health and clinical evaluations with particular expertise in alcohol, drugs and mental health research. She is a Research Fellow within the Mental Health Research Program at the Department of General Practice where she leads the process evaluation of two large-scale trials in the primary care.
She holds current Research Fellow appointments at the National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction (NCETA), Flinders University and the Mental Health Research Program, Department of General Practice, University of Melbourne. Jacqui has particular expertise in leading systematic reviews having completed two NHMRC systematic reviews, and published six systematic reviews in the peer review literature. She is a Member Editorial Advisory Board of Advances in Dual Diagnosis and reviewer for a number of peer review journals and has over twenty peer review publications. She was lead author on Take Note! A practical guide to writing case notes, which she wrote and delivered as a training package to the Alcohol and Drug sector nationally. She has extensive experience in training and workshop facilitation in clinical settings. Jacqui recently completed a Diploma in Project Management at the Australian Institute of Management. Her research interests include mental health in primary care and workplace health focusing on alcohol and drug use in the workplace.
