Bronwyn Hinz

 

Bronwyn Hinz is a researcher and tutor at the University of Melbourne, where she is also completing a PhD on education policy. She specialises in Australian politics and public policy making.

Her book Many Hopes, One Dream: The Story of the Ethnic Communities' Council of Victoria was published by Australian Scholarly Press in 2009 and launched by Former Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser.

Her innovative research has won multiple awards and earned her a Visiting Scholar position at Columbia University, New York in 2010.
Previously,

Bronwyn has worked for several federal politicians, including Senator Kim Carr, now the Minister for Innovation, Industry, Science and Research. She has worked with Per Capita (an independent progressive think tank), the Foundation for Young Australians, and the Contemporary Europe Research Centre.

Bronwyn has an Honours Degree in Political Science and French from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelors Degree in International Studies from Sciences Po in Paris.

Her primary areas of research are federalism, public policy reform and governance, education policy, multiculturalism, and non-state actors in policymaking.
