Ian O'Connor worked in the Australian banking industry for more than 20 years. His banking appointments included the areas of commercial lending, credit analysis, and a research role in prudential supervision.
He moved to academia in 1991 and has taught at several universities in the areas of business finance, international finance, investments, derivatives markets, and bank lending. His research interests include derivatives pricing, and volatility forecasting.
