Sara Meger

 

Sara Meger is a Lecturer in International Relations in the School of Social and Political Sciences. She joined the School in August 2017, where she teaches international security and gender in international relations.

She holds both a Master's (2008) and PhD (2012) in International Relations from the University of Melbourne. Her previous employment has included the positions of: Assistant Professor in Gender Studies at Central European University, Research and Teaching Associate at Monash University, and Sessional Lecturer at the University of Melbourne and Deakin University. Her research interests lie at the nexus of international security and global political economy and has featured in International Studies Quarterly, The International Feminist Journal of Politics, Globalizations, and Postcolonial Studies. Her book, Rape Loot Pillage: The Political Economy of Sexual Violence in Armed Conflict, is available from Oxford University Press.
