Gerry Simpson

 

Gerry Simpson holds the Kenneth Bailey Chair of International Law in the Law School. He is a visiting professor of international law at the London School of Economics, where he held a chair until 2009, and a Soros Fellow, based in Tbilisi, Georgia.



He has been a Senior Lecturer at the Australian National University (1996- 1998) and a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Law School (1999). His most recent book are Law, War and Crime: War Crimes Trials and the Reinvention of International Law (2007), and a collection of essays entitled The Margins of International Law (2012).
