Dr Benjamin Wei is an Australian Ear, Nose, Throat & Head & Neck Surgeon who completed his surgical training both in Australia and the United States of America.
Areas of Expertise: General Adult and Pediatric ear, sinonasal & throat, head and neck diseases including hearing disorders, cochlear implantation, hearing restoration surgeries, skull base tumors.
Academic Research: hearing research, biological safety of implantable devices, immunology, microbiology.

Dr Wei is the first and the only Australian to receive the Association for Research in Otolaryngology/American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgical Research Prize. He is also the first and the only Australian surgeon to receive the Premier's Award for Health and Medical Research, a joint initiative of the Victorian Government and Australian Society for Medical Research.
