I am a New Zealand-trained Colorectal and General Surgeon living and working privately in Melbourne. I am a Senior Lecturer in Surgery with the University of Melbourne, Northern Clinical School and the MD Research Project Co-ordinator for the Northern Clinical School.

I frequently locum across the country, predominantly in regional and rural centres. I have recently completed a fulltime Masters in Public Health with High Distinction through Monash University. Other recent activities include being the RACS representative on the ACSQHC working party for the Colonoscopy Clinical Care Standard development, lead author on the update for the NHMRC Colonoscopy Surveillance Guidelines for adenomas, a member of the Pathways Scientific Advisory Committee for Cancer Council NSW and an advisor to and media representative for Cancer Council Australia and the Victorian Department of Health.
