Dzenana is a Research Fellow at the Phoenix Australia Centre for Posttraumatic Mental Health. Her research focuses on posttraumatic mental health problems among high-risk populations such as military and veterans, refugee and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
Dzenana is particularly interested in the interaction of trauma and social factors with mental health, and the complexities associated with social and health inequalities related to transition out of military, migration and acculturation of refugees and migrants.
Dzenana is also a methodologist, specialising in evidence synthesis and review methodologies including rapid evidence assessments, systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
