Stephanie Downes is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Melbourne in the Australian Research Council’s Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions. She has published on aspects of late medieval Anglo-French literary and manuscript culture and its modern reception, and on bilingualism, medieval literature and emotional expression.
