Dr Rebekah Anderson is a lecturer and postdoctoral research fellow with the Melbourne Centre for Behaviour Change. Her research specialises in science communication and behaviour change.

Rebekah has worked with multiple government and industry partners to create positive behaviour change across sectors, and welcomes the opportunity to implement positive, real-world change.

She has presented her work at multiple conferences and speaking events to multidisciplinary national and international audiences, including:

Keynote at a CSIRO Science Communication symposium;
the University College London International Behaviour Change Conference (Lisbon, Portugal);
the Australian Government and Social Research Conference; and
the Australian Science Communicators Conference.

Her projects have included:

the design of a comprehensive health behaviour change program for an international industry partner;
the design of a novel, multidisciplinary approach to pro-environmental behaviour change;
examining the misuse of scientific evidence by vaping industry actors in influencing policy;
assessing the effects of alcohol labelling on consumer behaviour;
An NHMRC-funded project addressing the effects of climate change on youth mental health;
the design of a set of best practice science communication standards for researchers, in partnership with CSIRO and the HEAL network; and
an industry-linked project assessing the effects, and best-practice implementation of, short-form video in health behaviour change.

In addition to her research, Rebekah is a teaching specialist at the University of Melbourne, teaching into the Master of Applied Psychology course, and coordinating its industry-based internship and research project capstone subjects.
