I am working as a Research Fellow at the Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research (MIAESR) as part of the Social and Economic Disadvantage group. My position is funded by the ARC Centre of Excellence for Children and Families over the Life Course (LCC).
I am also a Research Affiliate at IZA. I got my PhD in Economics at Maastricht University in 2015, focusing on the measurement of economic preferences and their impact on household portfolio choice. My research revolves around applied microeconomics. My primary research interest is on household economics, human capital development, and the transmission of economic disadvantage. I am also interested in the behavioral drivers of household portfolio decisions, the stability of economic preferences, discrimination and favoritism, the effect of background risk on decision-making, and non-classical measurement error.
