Ann is co-author with Dr Greg de Moore of 'Finding Sanity: John Cade, Lithium and the Taming of Bipolar Disorder' (Sydney: Allen and Unwin, 2016) This biography chronicles the life and times of Dr John Cade, a medical alumnus of the University of Melbourne who discovered the use of lithium as a specific therapy for mania. In another project she is co-authoring a history of psychiatry in Victoria in the twentieth century.She is also co-authoring a biography of Professor Sydney Rubbo, Professor of Bacteriology and subsequently Professor of Microbiology at the University of Melbourne 1945-1969.
