Trent Newman

 

Dr Trent Newman is a teacher and researcher whose work focusses on multilingual and digital communication in academic and professional settings. Trent has over fifteen years’ international experience working with students and teachers across education sectors and in a range of social and cultural contexts, including secondary, preparatory or 'bridging', and tertiary education in Australia and the US, adult and popular education, workplace training, and foreign language education.

He is currently a language and culture teacher/researcher with Timorlink Inc. adult language education, and Research Fellow with the ‘Literacy 4.0 Project’ at Melbourne Graduate School of Education, examining the working literacies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
