I'm interested in the interactions between climate, fire, human activities and vegetation dynamics. My research is especially focused on the role of fire, human and climate in driving terrestrial ecosystems changes through the Holocene and Late Pleistocene in temperate Australia.

My current research aims to reconstruct fire-driven ecosystem changes across temperate and subtropical Australia. Another line of research is focused on the understanding the role of climate modes in driving fire activity across the Southern Hemisphere.
