Li Huang

 

Dr Li Huang is a research fellow with the Health Economics Unit at the University of Melbourne. She has broad interests in the economics of well-being and income-related inequalities.

She specializes in economic evaluation alongside clinical and community trials, and is experienced with administrative health care data and data linkages. She has active engagements with the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, the Royal Children's Hospital and the Royal Women’s Hospital, and holds a consulting role advising clinicians to incorporate Health Economics into medical studies. She is a co-investigator on grants worth over AU$6 million.

She has published in leading international journals including Social Science and Medicine, The New England Journal of Medicine, and Lancet Infectious Diseases. One of her methodological projects has estimated the monetary value of health using subjective well-being valuation method.
