Christo is an Australian auditory neuroscientist experienced in psychophysical and electrophysiological measurements in those with normal hearing, hearing impairment, and cochlear implants. He recently submitted his PhD thesis, titled "Mechanisms of auditory attention in normal and hearing impaired listeners", jointly through the schools of Anatomy, Physiology and Human Biology, and Psychology at the University of Western Australia.

Christo was supervised by Emeritus Professors Don Robertson and Geoff Hammond. Christo now works in electrophysiological measurements in cochlear implant recipients, to better understand the mechanisms and prevention of hearing loss after receiving a cochlear implant.
