Jichuan Sheng (盛济川) does research on the human aspects of environmental change, payments for ecosystem services, and policy for sustainability. His current research is investigating 'the incentive optimization for reducing forest carbon emissions based on the heterogeneous payments for ecosystem services in the Anthropocene.'
