Kate Raynor

 

Dr Kate Raynor is a Research Fellow with expertise in affordable housing, high density housing and urban consolidation. She has a passion for research-policy translation and action research.

Kate has authored numerous academic articles, including papers in Housing Studies and Urban Studies. Kate is affiliated with the Transforming Housing Research Partnership and the Affordable Housing Hallmark Initiative, contributing to the creation of accessible research outputs and capacity-building events and activities that aim to improve housing outcomes for very low to moderate income households in Melbourne. In 2017 Kate was nominated as the National Co-Chair of the Australasian Early Career Urban Research Network - an organisation with 400 members across Australia and New Zealand that supports Early Career Researchers. She regularly contributes to public debate through media engagement, presentations at public events and research dissemination.
