Dr. Juno is an early career researcher with a strong interest in non-conventional T cell immunology in the context of infectious disease. She completed her PhD in HIV immunology in 2014 at the University of Manitoba, Canada, during which time she received the CIHR Vanier PhD scholarship.

Following completion of her PhD, she undertook a post-doctoral fellowship at the Public Health Agency of Canada, studying unconventional T cells in Tuberculosis infection. In 2016, she moved to Melbourne to begin a post-doctoral position furthering her research in non-conventional T cell subsets in HIV and TB infection using non-human primate models of infection.
