Tilman Dingler

 

Tilman is a Research Fellow at the School of Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Stuttgart, a Master of Science Degree from the University of San Francisco, a Diploma from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich, and an Honors Degree from the Center of Digital Technology and Management at the University of Munich.

Before coming to Melbourne, Tilman was a Project Assistant Professor at Osaka Prefecture University in Japan and spent some time as a visiting post-doc at the MIT Media Lab. In between his academic career, Tilman worked in Industry as an engineer at Yahoo! Inc. and Tinyco. His research focuses on building cognition-aware technologies that help people process information more effectively and augment human cognition.
