Dr Wei Zhou is a research fellow based at the Royal Women’s Hospital. His current research mainly focuses on human endometrial receptivity and trophoblast-endometrial interactions.
In particular, his project aims to investigate how microRNA dysregulation in the endometrium affects endometrial receptivity and changes the microenvironment that the blastocysts are bathed. A better understanding of the mechanisms offers the opportunity for novel interventions to improve the efficiency of IVF treatment.
