Dr Fatemeh Azhari is currently a Research Fellow in the Mechanical Engineering department of the University of Melbourne working on a joint Integrated Computational Materials Engineering (ICME) project with the University of New South Wales (UNSW). She completed a B.Sc.

degree in Civil Engineering at Isfahan University of Technology, Iran in 2010 and obtained her M.Sc. degree in Structural Engineering from the same university in 2012. She worked as a Teaching/Research Assistant at George Washington University, US from 2013 to 2014. She obtained her PhD in Structural Engineering at Monash University in August 2018 and worked there as a Research Fellow for 9 months. Fatemeh's research expertise include Metals and Alloy Materials (esp. Ultra-High Strength Steel and Additively Manufactured Ti-64 alloy), Numerical Modelling and Mechanical Characterization (FE and Mesh-Free methods), Thermal Analysis and Composite Laminates. She currently focuses on developing an ICME tool for additively manufactured titanium alloys.
