I am a public health researcher with a focus on implementation research. After completing my PhD in the molecular epidemiology of HIV in the Pacific, I spent over three years leading sexual health laboratory at the Papua New Guinea Institute of Medical Research.

This work was largely focused on developing a greater understanding of womens' sexual health in pregnancy, cervical screening and the evaluation of point of care diagnostic devices. From there I continued the international focus with an additional 3.5 years in Myanmar, working in a research development capacity with a focus on infectious disease (HIV and Hepatitis C), harm reduction and maternal health. Since joining the Centre for Health Policy, I have been focusing on cervical screening and supporting Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services.
