Kirsti Hakala Assendelft

 

Kirsti Hakala is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow within the Hydrological Forecasting Group at the University of Melbourne. Her current research is aimed at implementing ensemble hydrological forecasts into water management decisions.

She is especially interested in improving the communication between scientists and stakeholders. Outside of academic research, she has also worked for the U.S. Geological Survey and within the water rights industry in the Interior Western United States.
