<p><span>The Ecological Impact Award was established by the ESA’s </span><a href="https://www.ecolsoc.org.au/category/working-groups/practitioner-engagement/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Practitioner Engagement Working Group</a><span> to celebrate and recognise the working partnership between ecological practitioners and ecological researchers. The award aims to promote and upscale on-ground outcomes based on robust ecological science and to support opportunities to build on project successes.</span></p> Ecological Society of Australia

<p>Melbourne Waterway Research-Practice Partnership</p> <p>Judges Note:The judges noted the multidisciplinary coverage of research topics from this research partnership was impressive. The nomination demonstrated how research findings and information generated by the partnership was being widely disseminated, and the thorough engagement process undertaken to determine research priorities.
