<p><span>The award is for a video made by Video and Media, Teaching and Learning Innovation (TLI) in collaboration with two FFAM academics, Dr Solange Glasser and A/Prof Margaret Osborne. </span></p> <p><span><em>Redefining Performance Training </em>showcases an innovative virtual reality application that TLI’s Ben Loveridge, Margaret and Solange designed to help musicians and students overcome stage fright through immersive performance simulations. The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) is a global nonprofit association dedicated to educational advancement and championing education to transform lives and society.</span></p>

<p><span>The University of Melbourne's Virtual Performance Simulation Project is a virtual reality-based application that empowers musicians to help overcome stage fright, practice in customisable virtual environments, and push creative boundaries. Led by a transdisciplinary team, the project has developed a cost-effective solution to performance training at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music. Utilising the Unreal Engine platform, the team has ensured the application matches the needs of 21st century music performance training. </span></p> Australasian Simulation Conference, Adelaide.
