Gravitational Lensing Probes of Quasar Structure

Abstract

Gravitational lensing provides a robust basis for developing new techniques of imaging the cores of quasars with a much higher angular resolution than is traditionally possible. We will apply three different techniques to Q2237+0305, and other lensed quasars in order to determine the spatial extent, shape and velocity structure of the emission regions.
