Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: To conduct a systematic review of randomised controlled trials (RCTs) to establish if very early mobilisation (started as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after onset of symptoms) compared with conventional care in patients with stroke can increase the proportion of independent survivors.
