Abstract
Compared 3 conditions for administering creativity tests by E. P. Torrance (Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking; 1974) and by M. A. Wallach and N. Kogan (Wallach-Kogan Creativity Battery; 1965). Ss were 112 New Zealand 6th graders. The 3 conditions were (a) untimed, gamelike; (b) conventional testlike; and (c) administration of measures under testlike conditions on 2 adjacent days, using the 2nd testing as the predictor. The conventional testlike condition seems optimal. (32 ref) (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2006 APA, all rights reserved). © 1980 American Psychological Association.
